Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CronCommander ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

The service is operated by Minibota Labs LLC, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If acting for an organization, you confirm authority to accept these terms on its behalf. Contact [email protected] for questions, notices or accessibility assistance.

2. Description of Service

CronCommander provides a centralized control plane for monitoring, managing, and auditing cron jobs across your infrastructure. The Service consists of a web console, a gateway, and lightweight agents installed on your servers.

You authorize agents to discover cron entries, report operational information, and apply managed job configuration you approve through the console. You remain responsible for server permissions, commands, schedules, testing, independent backups and recovery. Monitoring cannot guarantee that every job runs successfully or that every outage or error is detected. Do not use the service as the sole safeguard for safety-critical operations.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Sign-in is provided through Google Identity Platform using verified email/password or Google Sign-In. Protect your email account, workspace keys and agent credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Signing in does not authorize access to another customer's workspace. Account and workspace roles, not job-ownership or team labels, determine access. Agency Editor job changes require independent administrator approval; administrators may apply direct changes and must explicitly resolve pending proposals. Suspension or removal can leave jobs unassigned without stopping their schedules. You are responsible for reviewing access, assigning replacement owners, and verifying operational changes.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

CronCommander offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Agency plans. Current prices and included capacity are shown on our pricing page and confirmed before purchase. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. Annual base plans are billed upfront for the full year; the “pay for 10 months, get 12” offer is not monthly installment billing.

Paddle is the merchant of record and handles checkout, payment methods, invoices, applicable taxes, refunds and subscription billing under the buyer terms shown at checkout. Tax treatment depends on the purchaser's location and status; there is no universal fixed VAT rate. The final currency, tax and amount are disclosed by Paddle before purchase. Sandbox/test checkouts are not live purchases.

Pro and Agency may include metered quantities of additional billable agents at the rates disclosed for the selected billing interval. Agent lifecycle changes can change those quantities and result in prorated charges or credits. Review the plan allowance and applicable price before adding capacity. Starter is capped at ten agents rather than offering paid additional agents.

A plan or billing-interval change can take effect immediately and can create a prorated charge to the saved payment method or an account credit. Review the displayed estimate and confirm before applying it. Credits are not necessarily cash refunds. Payment failures, overdue balances, scheduled changes or provider restrictions may prevent a change; use the customer portal or contact support. Signed payment notifications determine when the application updates paid access.

You can request cancellation through the Paddle customer portal or contact us for assistance. The portal displays the effective cancellation date and any remaining paid access. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid that renewal charge. Stopping an agent, signing out, revoking Google access or requesting data deletion does not itself cancel a subscription. Refund requests are reviewed under applicable Paddle terms and mandatory consumer rights; these terms do not exclude statutory refund, withdrawal or cancellation rights.

Plan limits (agents, managed jobs per agent, workspaces, and users) are enforced by the service where supported. A downgrade preserves job definitions for recovery and auditability, but jobs above the new per-agent limit are not delivered to agents until capacity is available. Features marked planned, early access or post-launch are not promises of a delivery date. Material price changes will be disclosed before they apply to a subsequent purchase or renewal, with notice required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use the service unlawfully, monitor servers without permission, submit malware or infringing content, bypass account boundaries or limits, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service integrity, or use it to steal credentials or data. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law; separately licensed open-source components, including the agent, remain governed by their published licenses.

6. Data & Security

You retain rights in your submitted data and grant us the limited permission to host, process, transmit and display it as needed to provide, secure and support the service. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and lawful basis to submit it. Commands execute on your servers, but job definitions, command strings, discovered cron entries, server metadata and execution output can be transmitted to and stored by CronCommander. Do not embed unnecessary secrets or sensitive personal data in them. See our Privacy Policy for processing, providers, retention, transfers and your rights.

CronCommander's hosted software, branding and materials belong to Minibota Labs LLC or its licensors. We grant a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose while these terms are met; no ownership of our intellectual property is transferred. Third-party services and open-source components have their own applicable terms.

7. Availability & SLA

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service during the early access period. CronCommander operates on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

Unless a separate written service-level agreement applies, there is no contractual uptime guarantee or automatic service-credit entitlement. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for every use or error-free output. We may change features or suspend service as reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or legal obligations. These provisions do not exclude rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Minibota Labs LLC, the operator of CronCommander, shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

These exclusions and limits apply only where lawful and do not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or override mandatory consumer protections.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service or request account closure at [email protected]. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security risks or legal requirements, with notice where appropriate and feasible. Arrange needed exports and cancel subscriptions separately. Closing an account does not uninstall agents from your servers; you remain responsible for local cron configuration and agent removal.

Deletion and recovery-copy expiry follow the Privacy Policy, not a blanket promise that every copy disappears after 30 days. We may retain records required for security, disputes, accounting or law. Ownership, accrued payment obligations, lawful retention, liability provisions and other terms intended to survive will survive termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Changes apply prospectively subject to required notice and mandatory rights. If additional consent is legally required, we will request it. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel before renewal; contact us about any rights relating to an existing paid period.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, USA, without displacing mandatory consumer protections or legally required jurisdiction in your place of residence. Contact Minibota Labs LLC at [email protected] to raise a concern or seek informal resolution; this does not restrict access to courts, regulators or statutory remedies. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
